Yo-Ma is a fusion technique that combines both yoga and massage to create harmonious unification. It is a refined, one on one experience, designed to move the body and mind into a lucid state of self actualization. The body relaxes into Yin postures (asanas) while the mind travels on sound vibration waves produced by singing bowls and chanting. A massage therapist constructively massages areas of tension while the pose is being held for 5-8 minutes. All poses are supported; bolsters and pillows are used to prop. Clothes stay on. Sessions are 60 minutes. All yoga accessories will be provided. For the entire summer try Yo-Ma for $45/session. Couples Yo-Ma is $65/session.

Yoga unites the mind, body, and soul in a way that eases tension and promotes health. Regular practice improves breathing , increases endurance for other activities, and promotes mindfulness. Take a break from your day. Focus yourself and find clarity.
Yoga not only helps improve your body, but also helps with mindfulness. It is important to take a break from daily life in order to focus on yourself and get clarity.
Yoga is a great way to improve your endurance in other physical activities. After a heavy workout, yoga will help your body relax while stretching, strengthening, and lengthening the muscles you were just working on.
Yoga has long been known to lower blood pressure and slow the heart rate. A slower heart rate can benefit people with high blood pressure or heart disease, and people who've had a stroke.
Yoga has also been linked to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and better immune system function.
One of the main focuses of yoga is doing each movement with proper posture. To achieve this, you must draw your attention to notice if you are slouching. Many poses emphasize aligning your bones correctly to achieve each pose. As you improve your core strength and focus on the proper form, you naturally will improve your posture.
Many yoga poses focus on creating a stable base for your body and improving your balance. This focus on grounding and stabilization will improve your balance over time which easily translates to simple, everyday balancing. Improving your balance benefits your orthopedic health as it allows you to coordinate your movements.
Similar to improving range of motion, yoga improves your muscle flexibility. As you hit different yoga poses, your muscles bend and stretch to achieve the proper form. Over time, you’ll be able to move your muscles more and more as they get used to the movements.
